Our artwork is located in Nanke Industrial
Science Park
in Tainan. It
is close to the Siraya
National Park. The park
is the ancestral homeland of the Siraya people, who were aboriginal people in Taiwan. The
Siraya people subsisted off of hunting deer for their meat and skins.
Therefore, this artwork commemorates the Siraya people by showing their
traditional lifestyle through art. The name in Chinese is “Qingting Caoyuan de
Shengyin” or in English, “Listening to the Sound of the Fields.”
It’s made of red paint and
