Fengming Yushan The name of our artwork in Chinese is ”Fengming Yushan” which means a phoenix crows to Mt. Jade (the highest mountain in Taiwan). It was named by professor Tseng from NCKU. The form of it was based on an artwork by Ying-Fung Yang and was made by Yang Feng-Seng in 2005 for Tainan Lantern Festival . It is made of stainless steel and concrete. It is located at An-ping area of Tainan. The five feathers symbolize the 5 races in Taiwan (mainlanders, Hoklo(islanders),Aborigines, Hakka, naturalized alien) and also stands for the five continents.
